# My Work

See Stories you own, upcoming due dates, checklists, and workspace activity on your personal My Work home page.

## Overview

**My Work** is your personal home page in Shortcut. Open it from the sidebar or with `g` then `d` to see what you own, what is due soon, and what needs attention without building a filter on the Stories page.

My Work brings together a few focused widgets so you can start the day with context on your assignments and recent workspace activity.

## My Stories

The **My Stories** section lists Stories where you are an owner, grouped by Workflow state. Use the display menu to change what appears:

* **In Progress** — Stories you have started (Started workflow states only)
* **To-Do and In Progress** — All active Stories you own that are not completed (default)
* **Everything** — Active Stories plus Stories you completed on the last business day

When your Workspace has multiple Teams, each Workflow state row shows which Team the state belongs to. Story counts (or point totals, when estimates are enabled) appear next to each state so you can gauge load at a glance.

If you have no owned Stories, My Work prompts you to create one.

## Checklists and due dates

My Work also surfaces **Checklist items** assigned to you or on Stories you own, including items where you are @mentioned. Toggle the checklist section to show all items or only those where you are mentioned.

The **Due dates** section highlights owned Stories with due dates approaching soon so you can prioritize before deadlines slip.

## Activity feed

The **Activity** column shows your Workspace activity feed: Story updates, comments, and other events relevant to work you follow. Use it to catch up on changes without opening each Story individually. See [Activity Feed](/help/views/activity-feed) for preferences and what appears in the feed.
