Meet Korey — the AI agent for product development
Korey is an AI agent built by the Shortcut team to help product and engineering teams manage the coordination work that slows delivery down.
Korey works directly inside Shortcut. You can assign Korey to a Story just like a teammate. From there, Korey helps turn rough ideas into clear, development-ready work by expanding context, adding acceptance criteria, and suggesting Sub-tasks. You can collaborate back and forth until the Story is ready to pick up and build.
When work is ready, Korey can also hand off structured context to coding agents or development tools, helping teams move from planning into implementation without rework or copy-pasting.
With Korey connected, teams use it to:
- Turn rough ideas into structured Stories and specs
- Generate Sub-tasks, dependencies, and next steps
- Hand off clear, structured context to coding agents
- Answer questions like “what’s in progress?” or “what’s blocked?”
- Summarize updates, stand-ups, and release activity
Korey handles the coordination and upkeep so your team can stay focused on building.
