What’s next on the Shortcut 2019 Q3 roadmap
In the blink of an eye, we’re halfway through 2019! It was a productive quarter for our team; we shipped a bunch of new features and improvements to the Shortcut web and mobile apps.
We ended the quarter on a high note, shipping our most requested feature Iterations to provide first-class sprint support and launched a new Android App. Throughout the quarter we released features like search enhancements, sidebar customization, and Google OAuth to make it easier for users to focus on their work and move quickly. Finally, we released a couple of new and powerful integrations with Sentry.io and Marker.io.
Here’s what we’re working on next
Integrating Iterations throughout Shortcut
Following our Iterations release, we'll make it easier to access Iterations beyond the Iterations page. Going forward we'll be integrating Iterations into the Status page, Reports, Epics, and more places so you’ll be able to see information with an Iterations context.
Reporting within and across Iterations
More reporting will be added to provide additional insight to help squads get more mileage out of Iterations.
Improved filtering experience
Introducing Iterations comes with lots of powerful benefits but it also introduces an increase in dimension and complexity, especially as we enable the ability to filter by Iterations across Shortcut. Our filtering enhancements will reduce filter clutter and confusion so it's easier to zoom into the work you care about, without forcing you through filtering hell.
Here's a peak at what we've done in the first week of Q3 to reduce filter clutter on the Stories Page - we'll continue to iterate on this throughout Shortcut:
