Profile Settings

Your profile is created when you set up your Shortcut account. Your full name, username, profile icon, and UTC offset (used in email notifications) persist across all your Shortcut Workspaces.

Manage your profile at Settings > My Profile

Set Avatar

Navigate to Settings > My Profile
Select Upload Icon
Upload your image

Crop your profile image —> hold Shift and drag the file onto the Your Profile Icon area

Additional Email Addresses

Shortcut supports multiple email addresses, which is useful if you use integrations linked to a different email than your Shortcut account. Adding another email address allows you to log in using that address, and links any GitHub commits made by that address to your Shortcut user account

Navigate to Settings > Email Addresses
Add a new email address
Confirm the email when you receive the confirmation message
Adjust primary/secondary addresses or delete old addresses as needed

Note: Only your primary email address will receive system emails from Shortcut.

Display Preferences

Toggle between Dark Mode and Light Mode to customize your Shortcut experience.

Select your profile icon (or initials) in the top-right corner
Select Theme > Dark, Light, or System

Delete your account

Deleted user accounts and their data cannot be recovered once they are deleted.

If you are the sole Owner of the Organization, that Organization and Workspace(s) will also be deleted, as well as your user data.
If you do not want your Organization deleted, transfer your ownership first.
To delete your entire user account, contact support@shortcut.com.
