Overview
Add your Shortcut due dates to Google Calendar using the Shortcut Calendar integration’s iCal link. Due dates sync one way—from Shortcut to your Google Calendar.
Adding Shortcut iCal to Google Calendar
First, make sure the Calendar integration is turned on so Shortcut can produce your iCal links. Then add a link to Google Calendar in five easy steps:
- Ensure the Calendar Integration has been activated on the Shortcut calendar integration page (Integrations > Calendar)
- Copy the preferred iCal link from the Calendar integration page
- On the left-hand side of your Google Calendar, click the dropdown arrow next to Other calendars
- Select Add by URL
- Paste the iCal link into the URL field and click Add Calendar
Your Shortcut due dates associated with the iCal link you added will now appear in your Google Calendar.
Google Calendar does not immediately refresh. It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.
