The Created vs. Completed chart displays work created and completed within a period of time. Work is represented by either points or Story count.
- The x-axis represents time; intervals can be changed using the Group By filter
- The y-axis represents the number of points or Stories, configurable via the dropdown on the right
- Stories Created measures points or story counts for all stories created during that interval
- Stories Completed measures points or story counts for all stories that moved to a “Completed” workflow state during that interval
Note: Group By Iteration is not supported by this chart.
Using Created vs. Completed
- Track Bugs - Look at Stories created and completed by a certain story type. Filter to view data just for your Team or by Story Type, Epic, or Objective
- Visualize the pacing of work - See changes in the ratio of created vs completed, particularly when the divide grows further apart, comes together, or switches balance
- Completed work over time - See trends on how quickly Stories are being created and completed over time
