Overview
DailyBot is a workflow automation assistant that runs standups, check-ins, surveys, and kudos through Slack or Microsoft Teams. The Shortcut integration allows teams to reference and update Stories during async standups and automated check-ins.

Setting Up the Integration
- Install DailyBot in your Slack or Microsoft Teams workspace
- In DailyBot settings, go to Integrations
- Select Shortcut and click Connect
- Authorize with your Shortcut credentials
- Configure which Teams should have access
Each team member may need to connect their individual Shortcut account for personalized Story access.
Using the Integration
In Standups
During async standups, team members can:
- Reference Stories by ID:
Working on sc-12345 - DailyBot shows Story details inline
- Click through to view full Story
Automated Reports
Configure DailyBot to:
- Pull in Stories completed since last standup
- Show current Iteration progress
- Highlight blocked Stories

Best Practices
- Encourage team members to reference Story IDs in standup responses
