Overview
Marker.io is a visual feedback and bug reporting tool that lets users capture annotated screenshots directly from websites. The Shortcut integration automatically creates Stories from bug reports, complete with screenshots, browser information, and console logs.

Setting Up the Integration
- In Marker.io, go to Settings > Integrations
- Select Shortcut from available integrations
- Click Connect and authorize with your Shortcut credentials
- Configure default settings:
- Destination Team
- Default Workflow state
- Story type (typically “Bug”)
Install the Marker.io widget on your website or use the browser extension for internal testing.
What Gets Captured
Each bug report includes:

Workflow

- Labels: Automatically add labels (e.g., “user-reported”)
- Workflow: Set initial state for new bug Stories
- Notifications: Alert team in Slack when bugs are reported
